Living Things is a not-for-profit collective whose mission is to support local artists at all stages of their careers by ensuring they earn the full value of the sale of their work.
Misson Statement
Our gallery, homes and studios all sit on Mi’kma’ki land. Those of us that are settlers and uninvited guests have the obligation to live in harmony with the environment; being intentional with the ways our livelihoods impact the earth, air and water.
There is no space here for hate-speech. Homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, racism, and any derogatory words or actions toward another’s religion, country of origin, appearance, orientation or gender will not be tolerated.
All work shown and sold is through original thought and creation of the artist. We support and value the beauty and mistakes inherent in being human. We do not (and will not) use or carry generative A.I in our visual or written work.
Conflict is an inevitable part of life, and it is up to us to approach with gentleness, acceptance, understanding and non-violent communication.
