Tell Me Something Good

Cotton warp and weft, sandblasted birch plywood, cast plaster, leather, paper and pencils.

Dimensions variable as installation.

2019

Tin cans cast in plaster on a sandblasted plywood sign engraved with the words “tell me something good” hung in the Purdy Crawford Center for the Arts and Thunder and Lightning Pub in Sackville NB; encouraging passer-by to leave annonymous notes with the pencils and paper provided. These notes were then translated and woven in Morse code with white cotton weft threads into a black cotton warp using a small table top loom.
